Ryan Instruments has introduced the PT-2 digital thermocouple thermometer, which fits into one's hand or shirt pocket. The probe can be replaced on-site, and the instrument maintains its accuracy. Other features include a heat-resistant handle and cable and shock-resistant housing. The PT-2 is safe for food contact. Measuring range of the PT-2 is -40 degree to 500 degree F (-40 degree to 260 degree C) with an instrument and probe system accuracy of 0.9 degree F (0.5 degree C) over the entire range. The warranty is two years on the instrument and on the probe.
