• IdleAire to install ShorePower at TA locations

    IdleAire will install its patented, award-winning Advanced Travel Center Electrification (ATE) ShorePower system at all TravelCenters of America (TA)

    IdleAire will install its patented, award-winning Advanced Travel Center Electrification (ATE) ShorePower system at all TravelCenters of America (TA) company locations across the nation under a long-term agreement announced by the two companies. Headquartered in Westlake OH with 126 company locations, TA also will engage its 24 additional franchise locations for IdleAire installation.

    IdleAire is currently installed in 18 locations. The company has another 21 sites in some phase of construction. Under the agreement with TA, IdleAire will expand the three current IdleAire installations at TA sites in Dallas, San Antonio, and Baytown TX, which were used by TA for evaluation purposes. The TA in Paulsboro NJ recently opened, and the next locations scheduled for installation are Wheeler Ridge CA, Coachella CA, Ontario CA, and Knoxville TN.
