Hino Motors Mfg USA Inc (HMM), a subsidiary of Hino Motors Ltd, celebrated the grand opening of its new United States headquarters and Sales Service Training Center in Farmington Hills MI. The occasion was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new complex lets HMM and its US sales arm, Hino Motors Sales USA Inc, leverage the resources throughout the region and expands its US presence. From this location, HMM coordinates management of its California and Arkansas manufacturing facilities; oversees product planning (including market surveying and research); quality assurance; purchasing and procurement; and houses all information technology functions, as well as legal, administrative, and human resource operations.

The nearly 34,000 square foot facility at 37777 Interchange Drive currently employs 20 people and plans to increase its staffing to 30 in the next three years. In keeping with the state of Michigan's efforts to attract new businesses and cultivate employment opportunities HMM will receive incentives for new employee job training.
