Chicago Rawhide announces a line of fan clutch rebuild kits for the heavy-duty truck market. These precision fan clutch rebuilding kits feature SKF bearings; a nonasbestos, high-coefficient-of-friction disc with virtually no glazing or slippage; and a field-tested air cartridge assembly with carbon graphite seal.

Fan clutch rebuilding kits are available for 7.5" and 9.5" fan clutch assemblies. Kits are offered in Standard Kit, Major Kit, and Seal Kit configurations. Kits for the 9.5" fan clutch are available with a standard or special friction disc.

The Standard Kit includes: seal kit, splined hub bearing assembly featuring a black oxide coating that inhibits rust, friction disc, and two-sheave bearings. The Major Kit includes all of the components in the Standard Kit plus a friction plate with heat sensor. The Seal Kit includes: 8 Torx cap screws, vent plug, face seal with O-ring, lock nut, heat sensor, air cartridge assembly, assembly lubricant, and O-ring lubricant.
