    NTE has published a new educational resource to assist professionals interested in improving their logistics operations with Internet-based solutions. Called the NTE e-Transportation Guide, the 16-page publication includes articles on:

    • Myths and realities of e-marketplaces.

    • Firsthand experiences and recommendations by three companies actively using e-transportation services.

    • Steps to building a successful e-commerce plan.

    • Descriptions of the various e-transportation options (ie, private trading communities, exchanges, and bulletin boards).

    • How to integrate an e-transportation solution into existing systems.

    • Ways to build support for online services from others in an organization.
