J J Keller & Associates Inc has issued the HIPAA Privacy Compliance Manual for Employers, a new manual designed to help employers determine what information must be protected and what records must be kept confidential under the HIPAA privacy requirements.
The 250-page manual uses a conversational writing style to explain how to comply with the latest HIPAA requirements. It also covers who to train on the proper handling of protected health information (PHI) and information on employee rights related to their PHI.
This manual includes word-for-word HIPAA regulations, guidelines on how to comply, checklists to help determine what is needed to comply and which records must keep confidential, definitions of key terms, and sample forms and policies.
