Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems has created a new business unit for pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic controls with products including the Tiremaxx automatic tire inflation system.

“Based at Hendrickson trailer in Canton (OH) and headed by Matt Wilson, Controls Business Unit manager, the enterprise provides a greater focus for our line of control products,” said Gary Gerstenslager, general manager, Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems, in announcing formation of the business.

“In addition to Tiremaxx, the unit manages products including a full line of trailer height control valves, lift axle controls, dump valves, and many other suspension control systems,” said Wilson.

Wilson joined Hendrickson in 2005 as a program manager in the marketing group. Bringing more than 10 years experience in the heavy-trucking industry, he formerly managed the vocational product line for Sterling Truck Corp.
