Innovative Computing Corp has announced a project to add capability for Innovative Enterprise Software (IES) and IES Access customers to post loads and equipment to each other via this software and the Internet. No fees will be charged to post or search for loads or equipment. A $7 fee will be charged to both parties only after a load has been accepted.
Plans are to demonstrate the service, called LoadCentral, at Innovative's user group meeting in October 2000 and to launch the service in January 2001. Initially, Innovative will offer LoadCentral as a closed network, with loads coming from carrier overages. A user organization will be created to establish business rules for the service.
LoadCentral will be available to Innovative customers using R6 and R7 releases of IES first, followed by R5 users.
