Supervalu has expanded its SuperTarget business and now supplies 31 SuperTarget stores in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. The Minneapolis MN-based retail grocer will supply grocery, meat, deli, frozen, dairy, bakery, produce, and Archer Farms private-label products to these stores. With the addition of these stores, Supervalu supplies a SuperTarget network of 102 store locations.

With annual revenues approaching $20 billion, Supervalu has a retail store network consisting of 1,417 stores in 39 states. These stores include 1,150 Save-A-Lot extreme value food stores and 267 regional banners including Cub Foods, Shop ’n Save, Shoppers Food Warehouse, Metro, bigg’s, Farm Fresh, Scott’s Foods, and Hornbacher’s stores.

Supervalu serves as primary supplier to about 2,460 stores, 29 Cub Foods franchised locations, and Supervalu’s own regional banner store network of 267 stores, while serving as secondary supplier to roughly 1,500 stores. The company has about 57,400 employees.
