Webb gets new certification

Cullman AL-based Webb Wheel Products Inc says it is the first manufacturer in the trucking industry and the l7th company in the United States to receive ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification for its quality management systems. Webb produces wheel-end equipment for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.

ISO/TS 16949:2002 is aligning existing US, German, French, and Italian automotive quality system standards within the global automotive industry. This certification does not replace existing quality system requirements; rather it includes additional customer- and employee-specific requirements to make it an equivalent to QS-9000, VDA6.1, AVSQ, and EAQF.
