    Ronnie Dowdy Inc, a Batesville AR-based truckload carrier of refrigerated and frozen products, has emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in a process that began with its declaration April 17, 2002. The company has an approved plan for retirement of corporate debt and reorganization in place. Revenue for 2003 is expected to exceed $33 million.

    Dowdy operates 130 company-owned tractors, 270 refrigerated trailers, and contracts for an additional 70 tractors from owner-operators. Growth in 2004 is projected to come from the addition of more independent contractors.
