Manta Media Inc has expanded its Field Management System (FMS) to include precise GPS satellite locating and web-based business management tools such as signature capturing and subcontractor resourcing.
The GPS satellite feature allows fleet managers to improve communications with dispatchers and mobile resources to locate vehicles with pinpoint accuracy. FMS improves efficiency and productivity to allow businesses to understand where, when, and the length of time each vehicle in a fleet stopped or took on an assigned job. Reported locations are updated to the web FMS at customer-defined time and/or distance intervals.
FMS is flexible to handle future enhancements in order to stay competitive. A recent addition includes signature capture via the Palm Pilot. Field resources can capture client signatures in one step and transmit the signature back to the server for storage.
