Carrier sees the merit in using TMWSuite

Omaha NE-based refrigerated carrier Merit Transportation LLC has selected TMW Systems' TMWSuite as the company's enterprise management software. Merit chose TMWSuite to replace software that provided limited ability to track drivers' hours and lacked flexibility in choosing reporting options.

Through TMW's Visual Dispatch component, Merit controls all dispatch activities from a central application that provides access to information for dispatching single or multiple moves. The planning worksheet enables Merit dispatchers to match moves with available resources to reduce empty miles, increase asset utilization, and improve driver satisfaction.

“With Visual Dispatch, we're able to more accurately track our drivers' hours, which enables them to be home more often while still working their specified number of hours,” said Shawn Fox, controller for Merit.
