KLLM Inc declared returning champion Bill Fambro of Scottsville TX the top winner when 21 of its nationwide drivers competed in its safe-driving rodeo. This internal competition sends up to 12 winners to the Mississippi Trucking Association state championship.
Fambro will be joined by fellow KLLM drivers Paul Brownlee of Calhoun LA, Steve Jones and Rick Sims of West Monroe LA, Jerry Laymon of Ilion NY, Mike Dobis of Pine Bluff AR, Dolyal Bickham of Jackson MS, Eddie Hemphill of Pearl MS, Terry Sanders of Olla LA, Roger Clark of Columbia LA, Donald Sledge of Bastrop LA, and Mary Moody of Cave Junction OR.
Up to seven drivers will advance from the state competition to the American Trucking Associations truck driving championship later in 2003.
