The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has announced that Petro Stopping Centers will join Volvo Trucks North America as sponsors of the Highway Angel Program.

The Highway Angels Program recognizes truck drivers for random acts of kindness, courtesy, and courage they show others while on the job. Since its inception in August 1997, more than 650 Highway Angels have been honored for good deeds.

Petro will promote the Highway Angel program through its travel plazas, while Volvo plans to include a Highway Angel nomination package inside each new Volvo sold.
