    ASTBS Changes Name in Wake of Merger Now that its parent corporation, AlliedSignal, has formally changed its name to Honeywell as a result of its recent merger, AlliedSignal Truck Brake Systems Co (ASTBS) is also changing its name. The provider of Bendix products and services to the heavy-duty vehicle market will become Honeywell Commercial Vehicle Systems Co and will do business as Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems. A joint venture, Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems is owned 65 percent by Honeywell and 35 percent by Knorr-Bremse AG of Germany.
