J J Keller & Associates Inc has introduced an enhanced version of Log Checker, the software that helps automate the task of auditing drivers logs for compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration hours of service (HOS) regulations, including the new FMCSA rule regarding split sleeper berth requirements.

Addition of automatic home page alerts provides information such as current top 10 HOS violators, critical violations, and drivers with falsifications and missing logs.

Other software features include built-in regulatory content and search tools to aid in information searches, a driver point system to evaluate and grade drivers, a 34-hour restart option, and enhanced reporting capabilities.

As with earlier versions, users can enter HOS data into the software to eliminate manual log auditing.
