TMW Systems Inc is now a certified systems provider for the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Agency's Automated Commercial Environment
    Sept. 1, 2006

TMW Systems Inc is now a certified systems provider for the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Agency's Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) e-Manifest Program. This commercial trade processing system requires Canadian trucking firms to submit an electronic manifest to the agency before shipments reaching the US border.

In conjunction with the certification, TMW has introduced a new ACE integration tool for its TMWSuite enterprise management platform. The ACE system not only transmits the shipment information required by ACE, but also enables integrated message control within TMWSuite. The system automatically creates ACE documents with the appropriate data and then routes them to CBP to create a seamless integration.

The ACE integration tool is being implemented at several TMW customer sites, including Kriska Transportation, a 380-unit Canadian truckload carrier that serves North American customers in the food and consumer products business.
