The General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a new, enabling mobile data service that offers an improvement in spectrum efficiency, capability, and functionality compared with wireless networks.

Navtrak introduces the Mobile Manager 904G, designed for the GPRS network. The 904G is an advanced GPS vehicle locating and data transfer device available on T-Mobile USA and AT&T Wireless nationwide GPRS network.

Using the 904G with Navtrak's Street Suite 3.0 will allow companies to increase vehicle-monitoring activities. The 904G can monitor events such as doors opening or closing, vehicle speed, GPS location, recording temperature and moisture within trailers, and idle time. This device can monitor multiple events on a vehicle and report what's happening and when. Using Street Suite 3.0, all the information is provided in real-time or stored for future analysis.
