Taylor Fresh Foods adds to its deli presence

Salinas CA-based Taylor Fresh Foods Inc has obtained a controlling interest in Pacific Pre-Cut Produce, a Tracy CA-based fresh-cut produce and salad provider.

Aiming to boost its supermarket delicatessen presence, Salinas CA-based Taylor Fresh Foods Inc has obtained a controlling interest in Pacific Pre-Cut Produce, a Tracy CA-based fresh-cut produce and salad provider. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This transaction provides Taylor Fresh Foods, which is the parent company of Taylor Farms, access to Pacific Pre-Cut’s deli customers. Pacific Pre-Cut benefits from Taylor’s access to foodservice customers.

With nine salad plants in California, Colorado, Maryland, Texas, Florida, and Tennessee, Taylor also operates two international sites that produce fruit, vegetables, and fresh-cut salads. Pacific Pre-Cut runs two 150,0000-square-foot plants in Tracy.
