Waltco Truck Equipment Co has announced that all LPF Flipaway Series liftgates will ship with an improved torsion-assist feature on both the main deck and the Flipaway section of the liftgate platform. With this feature, the main deck and the folding section of the liftgate platform each require only 25 pounds to lift and fold.
The LPF Series Flipaway combines the large platform and load capacity of a rail-type gate, with the folding storage features of a Flipaway. The large, self-leveling platform is provided in 3,000- and 4,000-lb capacities.

Thermalpak with Voltage Guard, a thermally protected power unit that shuts down the power to the liftgate before heat build-up due to low voltage or a bad ground can cause permanent damage to the motor.

Closed-loop hydraulic system with hydraulic cylinders manufactured and tested in-house by Waltco.
