Werner boosts quarterly dividend by 40%

Omaha NE-based truckload transportation company Werner Enterprises Inc has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 3.5 cents per common share payable July 20, 2004, to stockholders of record July 6, 2004.

Omaha NE-based truckload transportation company Werner Enterprises Inc has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 3.5 cents per common share payable July 20, 2004, to stockholders of record July 6, 2004. This dividend is a 40% increase over Werner's previous quarterly dividend rate of 2.5 cents per share.

The company is in its 18th year of paying quarterly cash dividends on its common stock. It paid the first quarterly cash dividend in July 1987.
