Peterbilt's lightweight FLEX Air tandem air suspension is being offered in a special promotion for Peterbilt trucks and tractors equipped with post-October-2002 engines.

The promotion, which is provided for a limited time, provides the FLEX Air suspension for the same list price as Peterbilt's Low Air Leaf suspension. FLEX Air is up to 400 pounds lighter than the Low Air Leaf suspension.

Introduced by Peterbilt in 2001, FLEX Air is rated at 38,000 pounds and features a design that provides Best in Class ride and handling while maintaining roll stiffness and articulation. It is available for Peterbilt Models 379, 387, 378, and 385.

Peterbilt is also supplying extended warranty coverage for select Cummins exhaust gas recirculation engines and Eaton transmissions, to help offset concerns about the impact post-October engines may have on their operations. All of the promotions are for a limited time.
