The National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC) honored 11 drivers at its fall meeting in Nashville TN. Among those recognized was John Fletcher, who drives for Refrigerated Food Express Inc of Avon MA. A Batavia NY resident, Fletcher is based at the firm's Columbus OH terminal and operates between the New York NY and Memphis TN terminals. NASTC cofounders David Owen and Buster Anderson presented Fletcher with his awards. He was selected as a member of NASTC Team 2000 for his safety record and service to the industry and his employer. Fletcher also was named NASTC Driver of the Year and awarded the Brian McKibben Memorial Award and $1,000.
