TydenTek, an electronic cargo seal manufacturer, and Porter Lee, known for software integration, recently entered into a supply agreement in which Porter Lee will distribute TydenTek's DataSeal and VeriTote cargo security products.
DataSeal products use radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to track cargo and prevent cargo theft. The match with Porter Lee expands application of the technology to criminal evidence tracking and crime lab management. TydenTek will provide DataSeals, which can be applied to containers and other large vessels, and VeriTotes, which are polypropylene totes with a DataSeal built in.
