Coleman Natural Foods has been formed by merging Golden CO-based BC Natural Foods LLC with KDSB Holdings LLC, headquartered in Gainesville GA. George A Chivari, president and chief executive officer of BC Natural Foods, becomes president and CEO of the new company. Mel Coleman Jr will serve as chairman of Coleman Natural Foods.

Based in Golden, this new company totals nearly 2,300 employees at 17 locations in six states, and it ranks among the top 30 meat processors in the United States.

The new entity operates four business units. The Poultry Division is headed by Mark McKay, the Meat Division by Chris Mortenson, and the Prepared Foods Division by Ed Jenkins. The Food Service Division (formerly Kings Delight) is headed by Rick Morris.

Coleman Natural Foods will operate in facilities in Golden, Denver, and Limon CO; Gainesville; Chicago IL; Fredericksburg PA; Williamstown NJ; and Petaluma CA.
