Kahiki Foods receives $1 million in financing

Columbus OH-based Kahiki Foods Inc, an international supplier of authentic Asian Pacific frozen foods, has closed a $1 million private placement financing

Columbus OH-based Kahiki Foods Inc, an international supplier of authentic Asian Pacific frozen foods, has closed a $1 million private placement financing of common stock with Barron Partners LP, a private investment partnership.

Michael Tsao, president of Kahiki, said, “This funding will enable us to successfully meet our working capital requirements and effectively implement our business plan for 2004.”

In 1995, Kahiki Foods began marketing frozen foods under the Kahiki brand. The company supplies large grocery chains and club stores, as well as foodservice operations in the United States and several other nations.
