Elite International Transportation Inc is unveiling a new corporate brand and is implementing a new product naming convention that offers a more precise representation of its integrated suite of products and services. The company is also adopting the name of its parent company, Elite Group Inc, under which all of Elite's business units — including freight forwarding, customs brokerage services, and warehousing — will operate. Elite's new branding and name does not reflect any change in the company's leadership or structure.

This new corporate identity includes a complete redesign of the firm's web site, marketing materials, and a new slogan: “Global solutions. Smart logistics.”

Elite is also unveiling a new naming convention for its unified suite of technology offerings:

  • SmartTracking — Provides global access to shipment's events and details through a Web-based interface.

  • SmartDocs — Generates bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations, and other documents for export shipments.

  • SmartReports — Allows users to have each report scheduled for execution and delivery via e-mail weekly, monthly, or daily.

  • SmartDashboard — Displays statistics, such as freight price per pound, price per TEU, and average weight per TEU for a chosen period of time.

  • SmartAlerts — Allows users to set up and receive alerts for any status update, including changes to estimated or actual dates for shipment events such as cutoff, sailing, arrival, and cargo release dates.

  • SmartShip — Allows users to schedule shipments via a Web-based customer portal, Online Access. Booking requests are then transmitted to the appropriate carrier.

  • SmartControl — Manages critical inventories in real time, providing a seamless, end-to-end, distribution network.
