The e-Logistics Expo has created a new “knowledge trade show” to be held May 9-11, 2001, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta GA.

This inaugural exposition features a three-day educational conference led by The Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech, with speakers from UPS, Manugistics, WebVan, Schneider Logistics, Eastman Kodak,, Ford Motor Co, the United States Postal Service, Wal-Mart, and Qualcomm.

One of the tools at the expo is the e-Lab, a hands-on exploration of application solutions designed to provide participants with a real-world feel for software programs. Corporate logistics teams will be able to experience the program elements together: conference, e-Lab, and interactive exhibition.

Day one of the conference will cover logistics planning; day two, logistics execution; and day three's focus is logistics electronic transaction management.

The e-Logistics Expo is a presentation of The Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech and GFB. For more information, phone 404-524-7777 or e-mail [email protected].
