The e-Logistics Expo has created a new “knowledge trade show” to be held May 9-11, 2001, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta GA.

This inaugural exposition features a three-day educational conference led by The Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech, with speakers from UPS, Manugistics, WebVan, Schneider Logistics, Eastman Kodak, Amazon.com, Ford Motor Co, the United States Postal Service, Wal-Mart, and Qualcomm.

One of the tools at the expo is the e-Lab, a hands-on exploration of application solutions designed to provide participants with a real-world feel for software programs. Corporate logistics teams will be able to experience the program elements together: conference, e-Lab, and interactive exhibition.

Day one of the conference will cover logistics planning; day two, logistics execution; and day three's focus is logistics electronic transaction management.

The e-Logistics Expo is a presentation of The Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech and GFB. For more information, phone 404-524-7777 or e-mail [email protected].
