McLane extends Handee Marts agreement

McLane Co Inc has reached agreement with Handee Marts Inc to continue serving as its primary wholesale-distributor through at least 2012.

Headquartered in Gibsonia PA, Handee Marts holds exclusive rights to operate 7-Eleven stores in 20 counties in western Pennsylvania, 14 counties in northeastern Ohio, one county in Maryland, and two counties in West Virginia. Handee Marts was founded in 1969 and has 63 stores.

Temple TX-based McLane provides distribution services to more than 50,000 locations. The company operates 19 grocery distribution divisions and 18 foodservice distribution centers.
