Chicago IL-based Gonnella Frozen Products has chosen to construct an expandable manufacturing and distribution facility in Pennsylvania's Luzerne County, creating at least 72 new jobs within three years. The facility will be located at the Humboldt Industrial Park in Hazle Township.

Working with the Greater Hazleton CAN DO organization, Pennsylvania developed a $2.4 million investment package for Gonnella. The company is also eligible to apply for a $2.88 million loan through the Citizens Job Bank program, which offers low interest rates to companies that commit to creating or expanding jobs in Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1886, Gonnella produces frozen bread and roll dough for in-store bakeries and foodservice providers.
