Thermo King announces the next evolution of the MD and the KD: the MD-200 and MD-300 refrigeration units for trucks. These new units have an updated exterior that displays innovation and sleek, beautiful style.

Additions of EMI-2000 and a high oil capacity compressor are a direct result of customer feedback, says the firm.

Standard on the new units, the EMI-2000 filter and fluids package extends service intervals to 2,000 hours for oil changes and 12,000 hours for coolant. This extends engine life with improved filtration, and reduces cleanup, disposal, and scheduled maintenance costs by up to 40%.

The two-cylinder X214 reciprocating compressor delivers optimum pumping and cooling capacity. Thermo King also added the deep sump with additional oil to the compressor to increase unit reliability and performance.
