Pilgrim's Pride Corp, the nation's second-largest poultry company, was recently honored as an “outstanding vendor” by Brinker International Inc, a leading casual dining restaurant company.
Pittsburg TX-based Pilgrim's was one of only six companies, out of a pool of 700 firms, to receive the award from Brinker, which owns or franchises more than 1,600 restaurants. Among criteria used in the selection were product innovation and savings, performance in third-party audits, compliance with product specifications, order fulfillment and on-time deliveries, quality assurance, and customer service.
