J J Keller & Associates Inc announces $6 E-Logs. With CSA 2010 looming and the EOBR (electronic on-board recorder) mandate on the way from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, this E-Log system will help carriers of all sizes manage hours-of-service compliance.

The $6 E-Logs, powered by Keller’s Encompass, are priced per driver per month and require a one-time purchase of an onboard recorder for $199. Once data is captured, Encompass audits all of a company’s driver logs, providing them with online reporting and compliance information that can immediately improve their operation.

During a live poll of nearly 1,000 transportation professionals by Keller, more than 40% of respondents said that cost is the main reason they are not using E-Logs. DOT estimates show most carriers should actually see a cost benefit as a result of the installation and use of an EOBR system.

J. J. Keller will be hosting a webcast, “The New EOBR Rule and Effective Hours of Service Management,” October 12, 2010 at 1 pm Central time. To register for this event, visit https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/700407338.
