Owings Mills MD-based MHW Group has established Cryo-Trans Logistics to link an over-the-road transportation network with supply chain services provided by the MHW Group. These include two public refrigerated warehouses, Mt Airy Cold Storage in Mt Airy MD and Chambersburg Cold Storage in Chambersburg PA; two privately operated refrigerated facilities in Darien WI and Waseca MN; and Cryo-Trans Inc, a privately owned lessor of mechanically refrigerated railcars.
Herman Haksteen has been named chief executive officer for this new entity. He most recently served as president of MBX Logistics LLC, a third-party logistics company specializing in the food and beverage industries.
