Wabash National Corp lost $18.6 million in its 2001 second quarter. The loss amounts to 81 cents per share. In the same quarter of 2000, Wabash reported a profit of $7 million, or a gain of 31 cents per share. Sales in the quarter fell 40% from the previous year.
