The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) is offering the latest version of its Idling Regulations Compendium — free of charge — online at www.atri-online.org. Since first publishing the compendium in 2003, ATRI has distributed more than 50,000 copies to truck drivers and motor carriers.

Designed to help truck drivers reduce idling and comply with idling regulations throughout the United States, the compendium identifies 34 state, district, county, and city regulations that establish idle limits for commercial vehicles. Maximum idling limits and fines are listed, as well as specific exemptions. ATRI also provides the information on a cab card designed to be printed, folded, and kept by drivers in the cab of the truck.
