Quaker Maid Meats, manufacturer of frozen meat products, has announced the construction of a new processing facility at its headquarters in Reading PA.

Quaker Maid Meats, manufacturer of frozen meat products, has announced the construction of a new processing facility at its headquarters in Reading PA. The 40,000-square-foot center will be used for processing and freezing and will open in June 2005.

Founded in 1960, family-owned-and-operated Quaker Maid Meats is a frozen-food processor that specializes in portion-controlled manufacturing of meat and meatless products. The items are sold in retail supermarkets and to institutional food distributors in the continental United States and Bermuda.
