When mounted on a truck cab, the new TracVision L3 mobile satellite television antenna from KVH Industries continuously adjusts for vehicle motion to stay locked on the appropriate satellite signal. TracVision L3 delivers programming from DirecTV, the Dish Network, or other DVB-compatible satellite systems worldwide. Dozens of channels of CD-quality music are offered, as well as Internet-style data broadcast services.

TracVision L3's gyrostabilized antenna accurately and continually tracks television satellites. At the same time, KVH's integrated DVB technology provides instant and foolproof identification of the satellite being tracked, ensuring that TracVision L3 provides an uninterrupted lock on the transmission. The system will switch to a second satellite when necessary to receive local or premium programming broadcasts from a different satellite.

With its 14½" height and 31"-diameter footprint, TracVision L3 has a weatherproof dome constructed of ABS plastic. The system weighs 33 pounds, and all components are within a flush-mount antenna dome. KVH also has introduced its TracVision truck bracket, which mounts to the rear of the cab and can be positioned so the antenna is just below the edge of the cowling. For more details, contact KVH, 50 Enterprise Center, Middletown RI 02842.
