Safety Vision, a global provider of mobile video systems, announced that sales since its 1993 inception have topped the quarter-billion dollar mark.

Founded as a distributorship for rear-view camera systems, the company now provides a full array of mobile video products for vehicle fleets across market sectors. Safety Vision designs, manufactures, sells, installs, and services its own line of mobile-rated video camera and monitor kits featuring infrared technology as well as digital onboard surveillance systems featuring wireless video and audio data collection and streamlined data management.

The Small Business Association recently named Bruce Smith, Safety Vision's president/chief executive officer, as Small Business Person of the Year.

The company recently installed its 500,000th collision avoidance camera system, its 100,000th school bus recording system, and its 40,000th public transit surveillance system.
