Pocket Technician Option for Palm Handhelds

A new truck information and diagnostic software package option is available for Palm handheld computers for use with Caterpillar and competitive electronic engines. The Caterpillar Pocket Technician software not only provides access to 22 engine status parameters, but it also offers 23 configuration parameters — 11 of which are changeable.

The Pocket Technician software extracts ECM information to display fuel mileage data to drivers and fleet managers, and can upload and download data to and from Fleet Information Software. It also can adjust parameters.

A Driver Version and a Fleet Version, with added features, will be available online at cattruckengines.com/buystuff. The Palm handheld computer must be purchased separately.
