Champion Laboratories Inc is investing $30 million in two of its manufacturing plants in Albion and West Salem IL and $8 million in its York SC manufacturing plant over the next five years, company president Tom Mowatt announced.

Scheduled for completion by the end of 2002 is a 50,000-square-foot addition to Plant One in Albion. Internal upgrades to both the Albion and West Salem plants will include purchase of new production equipment, rebuilding and upgrading of existing equipment, and improvements in environmental controls. Other internal upgrades include installation of new and rebuilt equipment in the assembly areas of the York plant.
