H & M Bay Inc will begin construction of a 576,000-cubic-foot freezer/cooler at its Federalsburg MD headquarters facility. When complete, the cold storage inventory control system will operate on radio frequency identification (RFID) technology.

In business for more than 25 years, H & M Bay is a national truckload and LTL broker/freight forwarder of frozen, refrigerated, and dry product. Its distribution centers are in Washington, California, Massachusetts, Maryland, Florida, and North Carolina.
