Consolidated net sales from continuing operations in the fourth quarter increased to $1.4 billion, a gain of about 7% over the year-earlier period. Net earnings from continuing operations for the 2005 fourth quarter rose about 235% to $12.9 million, compared with approximately $3.9 million in the prior-year quarter.

For the full year of 2005, consolidated net sales from continuing operations totaled $5.7 billion, an increase of roughly 11% from 2004. Net earnings from continuing operations for 2005 advanced about 57% to $41.8 million versus $26.6 million the year before.
