Roundy's has recalled its three-pound bags of frozen chicken breasts from all stores carrying the product. The chicken is packaged as Roundy's Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breasts with Rib Meat, with the date of 091903 stamped on the heat-sealed side of the bag. Those having this lot-numbered product can return it to their stores for full credit.

Stores affected are in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Missouri.

Roundy's received a report from a store in Ohio that foreign matter was found in a single chicken breast. The manufacturer that supplied the chicken in question is undergoing a review of its processes and procedures.
