FleetPride, the Deerfield IL-based aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck parts, has acquired the Atlanta GA-based distributor Wheels and Brakes Inc. Founded in 1959, Wheels and Brakes specializes in wheel, rim, suspension, and brake parts for the heavy-duty industry. FleetPride acquired all Wheels and Brakes branch operations that include Atlanta, Norcross, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, Marietta, and Savannah GA; and Chattanooga, Kingsport, and Knoxville TN. FleetPride now operates more than 170 locations nationwide with revenues in excess of $550 million.
