In an effort to expand its presence in China, the Holland Group has established a representative office in Beijing.
The Holland MI-based manufacturer of commercial vehicle products said the new office, slated to open in June 2003, will oversee a number of key initiatives, including:
Working with its long-standing partner in China, The Corpco Group, to expand sales of Holland's products.
Identifying new markets and investment opportunities for its products.
Establishing a procurement office to source materials for other worldwide Holland Group divisions.
Jeffrey A Talaga, who currently serves as a product management team director for Holland, will serve in a newly created position of managing director for Holland China. He will be based in Beijing and will serve as the company's liaison with The Corpco Group in addition to managing a local Chinese engineering staff employed by the Holland Group.
