C H Robinson, the third-party logistics provider in Eden Prairie MN, reports a gross profit increase to $113.6 million for first-quarter 2002, up from $113.3 million for the same period in 2001. Income per share rose 14.3% to 24 cents per share, up from 21 cents per share for the same quarter in 2001. However, gross profit on trucking declined as a result of falling truckload volume.
