More than 3,000 trucking companies that offer common and dedicated contract services, plus 400 firms hauling exclusively under contract, are available in the new TTS Carrier Routing Directory (CRD). The edition is on CD-ROM and offers self-contained software, plus an Adobe e-book version.

Designed for shippers, private fleets, third-party providers, and truckers, the CRD profiles include company, key contact, title, address, toll-free and fax number, plus common and/or contract haul preference. Shown are commodities transported; TL or LTL; number of trucks, tractors, and trailers; and trailers by type, including chassis/containers. Carrier e-mail and web sites are also noted.

Vehicle shipment tracking capability by vendor name and 48 state or states and provinces actively served are included. Some 2,950 carriers serve the entire United States, 460 serve all of Canada, and 330 offer service to Mexico.

The CRD reflects 4,410 firms operating van trailers, 1,167 flatbeds, 835 refrigerated, 442 tanks, 284 open-tops, and 195 chassis/containers. Indexes identify firms by states served and equipment operated.

This directory is offered by Transportation Technical Services for $295 (US), plus $12 for shipping and handling. To order, e-mail [email protected], phone TTS toll-free at 888-ONLY-TTS, or access www.ttstrucks.com.
